In honour of International Women's Day being celebrated yesterday, a photography exhibition highlighting inspiring women from all across the globe has been launched at Valletta’s Laparelli Gardens.

The photography exhibition titled ‘Resilience’ showcases feminist themed photographs that have been awarded in the World Press Photo contests from 2000 to 2021.

Such photography aims at bringing attention to the challenges and hardships women and girls face in their communities.

For all those who wish to visit, the exhibition will available till the 28th March, 2023. It’s open all day and is completely free of charge.

The same exhibition is also currently on display in India, France and South Africa. It will also be put on display in Japan and Serbia next April and May.
