Who doesn't love a quiet outdoor spot to chill on a balmy summer afternoon? While there's no shortage of those in Malta, we're about to be gifted with a gloriously refined new option, for those days you're feeling a bit #fancy. Yep, the prestigious Villa Bologna in Attard will be opening an establishment within the grounds, just in time for summer!
We caught up with owner of the impressive villa, Jasper de Trafford, for a few deets ahead of the opening. “We will be opening a café inspired by local produce,” he says. “There will be a farmer’s deli shop and fresh local produce within this garden café.” He continues to say that, while the name isn’t confirmed yet, the new café will be situated near the renowned pottery studio.
The garden café should be up and running around the end of June, he reveals, just in time for the summer months! We can’t wait to relax in the gardens of Villa Bologna, sipping on an ice-cold drink and soaking up the sun. #Heaven!
