It seems like the month of May is starting with a bang this year. While yesterday it was announced that this May would be “hotter than average,” the first day won’t be so cheery.

According to Malta Weather, “Tomorrow, the first day of May and a public holiday in Malta and Gozo, is expected to start off with some rain!” Ergajna? Yup.

And of course, locals aren’t happy about it, as it may disrupt outdoor plans liking heading out for a hike, having a chill picnic, soaking up some much-needed sun and washing our embarrassingly filthy cars. #Guilty.

But there is some light at the end of this tunnel. The weather site also reported that skies should clear later on in the day, possibly still granting us a little time to head outdoors!
