Just last night, lawyer-model Natalia Galea won the annual Miss World Malta pageant – all whilst donning an immaculate gown.

Natalia’s dress was inspired by Malta’s flora and fauna, with a bead embroidered top section flaunting the ‘wings of the blue rock thrush bird’.

The dress’ skirt is made out of ‘purely handcrafted glass bead fringes imitating the national flower, Maltese Centaury.’

The impressive dress was handcrafted out of a whopping 600,000 hand beads by Rian Fernandez – a designer from the Philippines.

“I made it! Malta, I am your representative for this year’s 71st edition of Miss World,” Natalia wrote on Instagram this morning.

The Santa Venera model went on to thank her team, her family, her boyfriend, and the competition judges.

Well done, Natalia!
