This exhibition is launching on the 7th of December at 7pm at the Splendid Strada Stretta.

Gabriel Buttigieg's upcoming solo exhibition, ‘Narratives for Postmodern Love,’ is set to be more than just a showcase of paintings; it promises to be a profound exploration of contemporary emotions and relationships.

Taking over the Splendid, each piece within the collection is meticulously crafted with a deep consideration of the space, context, and history in which it resides.

The exhibition, happening from the 7th to the 22nd of December, curated by Lisa Gwen, serves as a visual essay on the complexities of love in the 21st century. The artist’s art reflects the confusion, multi-layered nature, and rawness of modern love. It dives into the uncertainty, loneliness, and fear that often accompany these intricate emotions.

This collection stands out as an intimate series where Gabriel Buttigieg channels his deepest emotions onto canvas after canvas.

Viewers can expect a visceral experience as the narratives unfold, offering a glimpse into the artist's soul. As we engage with the exhibition, we are likely to find a mirror reflecting our own emotions and experiences within the intricate brushstrokes and captivating compositions.

The launch of the event on the 7th of December, at 7 pm, marks the beginning of an artistic journey that will be open to the public during specific hours throughout the week.

Supported by The Splendid, Andre Gialanze Photography, DV Trading, Gemelli Framing, and Funderija Artistika Chetcuti, this project is poised to be a collaborative masterpiece, bringing together the vision of the artist and the support of the community.
