The past week has proved a tumultuous end to November on the islands, but one cafe’s attempt to brighten people’s moods has gone down extremely well with commuters.
In a thoughtful move, workers at Baked Café & Bakery in Msida left their workstations to distribute baked goods to the cars stuck in traffic outside. What was even sweeter than the goodies being distributed was the fact that the workers did not charge commuters for the treats, instead distributing them willingly and heartily in a heart-warming attempt to bring a smile to sombre faces.
In a video posted to Instagram and Facebook, the café captioned it: “We're giving out free brownies to people who drive by today in the hopes of making everyone feel a lil better today.”
