The Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses (MUMN) President Paul Pace took to Facebook to share disappointment regarding the increase of COVID-19 cases on islands due to mass events, sharing that this has also affected the nurses.

“With the increase of COVID cases due to mass gatherings, more than 30 nurses are under quarantine deprived from their families and children,” he shares in his post. In a separate status, Pace also noted that actions will be taken “in the coming days.”

Solidarity to all those working in healthcare during this time.
