Malta is set to experience mild weather this week, marked by rising temperatures and predominantly cloudy skies. According to Facebook page, Maltese Islands Weather, A shift in wind patterns by midweek will see winds turning southerly, ushering in warmer conditions with minimal chances of rain.

The week began with a slight chance of isolated showers on Monday, 8th December, but as the days progress, the likelihood of rain diminishes significantly. Temperatures will climb steadily, with the minimum temperature reaching 16°C by Friday, 13th December, accompanied by a ‘real feel’ of 15°C due to light breezes and overcast skies.

Maximum temperatures will peak at 21°C on Friday and Saturday, 14th December, providing a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for outdoor activities.

While the island won’t see much sunshine, the blanket of clouds dominating the week will create a calm and serene ambiance. The southerly winds will also contribute to the warmer temperatures, contrasting with the cooler, crisp weather experienced in previous weeks.

Despite the lack of rainfall, the persistent cloud cover may create a muted, wintry feel, a reminder that Malta’s typically mild winters still have a character of their own. Residents and visitors are advised to dress in light layers to adjust to the mild but slightly breezy conditions.

Are you a fan of these milder temperatures?
