The president of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola has been featured on the cover of the March issue of Elle Spain.
She was featured alongside many other strong and empowered women as part of Elle’s historic issue for Women’s month.
During the interview she shared her thoughts on the responsibility she feels to make life easier and better for young women across the European Union.
“I spoke about growing up as a proud Maltese, and how the EU has made Malta and Gozo far bigger than our geography and allowed young people to dream and realise their potential”, she expressed on Instagram.
She even referred to the European Union as “the most successful political project in modern history” but she is as determined as ever to make it even better.
