The Japanese passport took the first spot.
A study carried out by Henley and Partners, which is the original and authoritative company for the Passport index, has classified the Maltese passport as the eight most powerful one in the whole world.
The Henley Passport Index, which includes 199 different passports bases its assessments on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority.
They then base of their ranking on how much a passport holder from a particular country can enter another country without a visa.
The Japanese Passport was ranked as the best one in the whole world with South Korea and Singapore both following in second place.

Malta ranked eighth together with Australia, Canada and Greece.
On the other hand, Afghanistan’s passport was ranked as the worst passport in the world.
