As Malta’s gears for its first official swim during the feast of St Gregory, Malta Public Transport have announced additional services to Marsaxlokk.

Happening next Wednesday on the 3rd of April, a special TD10 route will be organised from Valletta to Marsaxlokk and back.

It will operate as follows:

Morning service - Operating between 9:15am and 11:35am, departures are scheduled every 20 minutes, aligning with Route 81's schedule.

Afternoon service - From 1:15pm to 4:55pm, buses depart every 20 minutes, aligning with Route 81's schedule.

St Gregory is celebrated in Malta on the first Wednesday after Easter. A procession with the St Gergory statue starts from Zejtun before ending in Marsaxlokk. As per Maltese tradition, many then brave into the sea to mark the first official swim of the year ahead of summer.

1st April 2024
