Malta jumps to the top of Twitter mentions during last night’s Eurovision semi-final

Last night’s semi-final saw Malta performing in 11th place out of 18 in the hopes of making it through to Saturday’s final, and after two years, WE MADE IT! Malta’s performance shot to the top, and is being mentioned all over the news as a top contender to take the title. #YAS

People were so impressed with Michela’s performance that Malta couldn’t stop being mentioned on Twitter. “Unbelievable! The tiny country of Malta jumps all the way to the TOP of the mentions after Michela’s performance!” wrote Kan Eurovision Israel on Twitter last night.

And judging by the polls and odds, Malta just might top the results tomorrow night. But, for now we’ll have to wait and see!
