Look at him go! Energetic pupper rules at bikejoring around the streets of Gozo
Bike what now?

Until about 10 minutes ago, I was oblivious as to what bikejoring is. A quick Google search later and well... it’s pretty cool! Bikejoring is basically riding a bike that is being pulled by a dog (or dogs!). Oh, and there’s also a snow version, called skijoring, as if the land one wasn’t cute enough!

The reason I was suddenly interested? This Gozo pupper, who's human shared a video on Facebook showing him running around the streets of Malta’s sister isle, while pulling him along. The cyclist is heard shouting “good boy” while the doggo is clearly having the time of his life! #Awww

And while this four-legged friend was enjoying the wind in his face, he was also getting some great exercise in! Bikejoring, while it does come with adventure risks, is the perfect way to allow your dog to exercise at his or her pace, which, most of the time, is faster than any human can run!

Watch the adorable video here:

If you’re thinking of trying bikejoring with your pupper, make sure to wear proper safety equipment, especially a helmet!
