We’ve got a new local champion in our midst. Maltese swimmer Amy Micallef made Malta proud during last weekend’s HiPoint Meet in Zurich. The youngster swam the 200m Breaststroke in 2:39,25 during the morning heats, breaking the national record while doing so!

The previous record was held by Amy herself at 2:40,83 which she achieved in May 2017. With her record time, Amy qualified for the Final, where she once again improved her own record time and established a new national record time of 2:38,60 for the Breaststroke. There’s no stopping this girl!
