Yesterday’s Budget gave us a few things to look forward to in 2020, but that didn’t stop online jokesters from unleashing their diabolical humour and entertaining the online community.

The proposal that drew most attention is Government’s plan to expand the island’s population by introducing a grant of €300 per child born, and people had A LOT to say about it. The below meme translates as follows: 'When your girlfriend has been wanting a baby for months and you always say no, but now you kinda want those €300.'
