Local photographer snaps amazing shot of Sri Lanka couple & needs your help to find them!
Everyday is an adventure for local photographer Karl Hili. Karl is currently travelling after leaving the island for an extended holiday, documenting it on his gorgeous Insta account. #Jealous. Right now, he’s in Sri Lanka snapping away at gorgeous, scenic views. But one spontaneous moment has quickly turned into an international internet search.

“There’s this scenic train ride from Kandy to Ella in Sri Lanka - it’s quite a slow one but very rocky,” he told us, explaining that he is currently on an eight-month backpacking trip in Asia (Sri Lanka being his first destination). He will then be heading for six months to Australia and New Zealand.
“Sometimes you get a person dangling to take a photo. I had gone on the seven-hour train ride the day before and once I arrived in Ella, I went to the famous nine-arch bridge to take a couple of photos of the train passing. I was quite far away.”

“I had only a couple of seconds to take a few photos of the train. At one point I looked up from my camera and just saw two people dangling and quickly went back to my camera, zoomed in and snapped it quickly. It’s very normal for one person to hang out but I’ve never seen any photos (or while on the 7-hour train ride myself) that have two people dangling out.” The sweet snap shows the couple dangling while sharing a sweet kiss.

Karl needs your help!
Karl wants to try to find this couple, whoever they may be, to send the shot to them. All you have to do is head to Instagram, share it on your story and add the hashtag #findingthetraincouple. “I’d super appreciate your help and let’s find this couple,” he said in his post.
