Their winning design is very familiar...
The local architecture scene has been flourishing as of late, and the year seems to be closing off on a very positive note for the industry. Participating in the German Design Council’s International Competition, Valentino Architects have not only shone a spotlight on local talent with their “inside and out” design but have left such an impression that they walked away from the award ceremony with a big gong, honouring the best architectural and design solutions!

Valentino Architects’ winning design is surely familiar to those who frequent St Julian's and find themselves in need of transport home. As a studio, Valentino Architects’ projects are derived from "a passion for design combined with a sensitive site context relationship, user requirements and the desire to bestow architecture that enriches the spirit."
This is all reflected in the design of The eCabs booking office. Despite its small physical space, it “was fitted out to contain a simple programme aimed at attracting and servicing customers in search of a cab.” Their efforts have paid off: by maximising its physical and marketing potential it is now mentioned as one of the winners of the Iconic Awards 2019 Pinakothek der Moderne.

Congrats Valentino Architects!
