Local baker sets national record for the biggest gingerbread house in Maltese history
Not only is it stunning but the gingerbread house also looks incredibly delicious.
Local baker, Donna Deguara has just set the record for the biggest gingerbread house to ever be made in Malta.
The ginormous gingerbread house measures as an impressive 174cm width, 205cm height and 185cm depth.
She completed this incredible feat in the name of Circolo Santa Marija AD1912 Ħ'Attard.
Together with the help of some volunteers including JP Deguara and Daniel Schembri, Donna spent 65 hours working to build this delicious creation.
The enormous gingerbread house required over 56kg of flour, 10kg of icing, 35 litres of water, 1.5kg of cocoa powder and 1.5kg of ginger.
Well done to everyone involved!
