Last year, it was announced that Old Bakery Street in Valletta would be home to Malta’s first Museum of Literature, also referred to as the Malta Book Centre, located in a historic palazzo.

The architectural firm AP Valletta has recently released new images showcasing what book lovers can expect from this unique haven that beautifully blends modern design with historical charm.

The building will encompass four storeys, featuring a tranquil courtyard and a rooftop terrace that offers stunning views of the capital city.

The Malta Book Centre aims to be a dedicated literary space, hosting everything from book launches to quiet corners where bibliophiles can relax with their favourite reads. It will also serve as a vibrant venue for interaction and community, fostering connections through a shared love of literature.

Are you looking forward to visiting the Malta Book Centre?
