The much-awaited yearly appointment of BirguFest by candlelight came and went this weekend. The city transformed into a sea of lights, oozing history and culture every way you look. Did you miss out on this spectacular event? Here are some awesome shots taken by locals during this year’s edition.

Isn’t she a beauty? BirguFest featured a number of local talent, historical re-enactments and many establishments and cultural sites were open to the public until early hours. The Inquisitor’s Palace was one of them, and luckily restoration works were finished just in time for the festival. Check it out below!
