Malta’s much-awaited (by some) rain has finally arrived – this afternoon, massive grey clouds, known as Cumulus or ‘Gharixa’ in Maltese, covered the sky in the southern and central parts of Malta, coupled with some showers.
Maltese Islands Weather commented on the accuracy of last week’s forecast, which predicted precisely that, including the fact that the northern regions of the country will be spared from the showers.
A similar situation to the one that’s occurring today is expected for tomorrow and Saturday – so plan your beach trips strategically! Evenings should provide fine weather, allowing for village feasts and other nighttime outings to remain as planned for now.
