Can you believe this? Back in the day, our little island looked like this! These shots dating back to the 1930s show a different life to what we’re used to right now.
Hawker Hinds bombers flying over the Grand Harbour
According to comments on the photo these planes are Hawker Hinds bombers and the photo dates the scenario to 11th May 1932.

A closer look
This photo seems to show the Empire stadium and Rue d’Argens that leads to Savoy hill on 1st February 1929. Can you imagine seeing a plane like this hovering in the sky?
