You may spot a familiar view while doing some online shopping today! One of the leading names in global fashion, Zara, has a t-shirt on sale that features St Lucy’s Street in Valletta, sometimes dubbed ‘Gold Street’ due to the number of jewellery stores that have opened there throughout history.

The part of the street shown on the printed tee is the pedestrianised area, closer towards the Grand Harbour side of Valletta, where coloured chairs and tables from the restaurants on either side of the road fill the picturesque pavements.

The typical Maltese balconies also feature in this image, as well as the hanging lights leading all the way down the road which ends at St Lucy’s Church – definitely one of Valletta’s most Instagrammed streets!

Have you taken any photos in St Lucy’s Street recently?
