“I knew it was nice but…!” Malta’s little sister wins over Italian travel influencer’s heart
Gozo may be tiny, but what it lacks in physical proportions it makes up for with its beautiful green scenery and unique seascapes. And it is precisely this that blew away Italian travel influencer Giuseppe Cannavò.
In a recent Instagram post, Giuseppe reveals that his trip to the Maltese islands came as a spontaneous decision taken with girlfriend Luana Gazzara, also a travel influencer. “It’s very touristy but like every place in the world, it has its hidden gems too,” he wrote.
The post explains that the pair wanted to do something extraordinary within reach of the sea, which settled their quest for accommodation. “We opted to spend most of our time in Gozo,” Giuseppe mentions in his post.
Giuseppe does not hold back his praise: “I knew it was nice, but I couldn’t expect to stroll through places like this one! It felt like being in another planet!” he wrote.
The duo also spent some time in Malta, where they lodged at the recently refurbished Marriott Hotel in St Julian's.
Both Giuseppe’s and Luana’s Instagram accounts reveal that the travel influencers kept themselves quite busy during their stay in Gozo, having shared snippets of footage he captured of salt pans, presumably those found in Xwejni.
