Spring's on its way!

Wednesday kicked off with a bout of rainy (yet gloomy) weather and earlier weekend forecasts promised a continuation along the same lines. What is great news for farmers can be daunting for others, but latest weather reports have hinted that the weekend will balance out to cater for both groups.

Indeed, local weather page Malta Weather took to Facebook to share an update on the situation: “Happy? It's back to WARM weather this coming Friday across Malta and Gozo with high expected to reach 20°C as ANOTHER plume of HOT AIR from northern Africa penetrates the central Mediterranean!” the post read.

Despite the warm weather, the first day fo the weekend will be partly cloudy. Winds are also expected to pick up to peak at a Northwesternly F6, averaging along those lines for the rest of the weekend.

Temperatures will plummet again on Saturday, highs of 16 °C and lows of 11 °C, as well as rain, expected. A similar forecast is predicted for Sunday, with sporadic rainfall and lows hitting 10 °C.
