Malta’s rich history is once again taking the spotlight on international television!

The upcoming episode of Cronache dalla Storia‘Malta 1565: L’assedio’ (Malta 1565: The Siege) – will air on Monday 10th November (tonight) at 9:10pm on Rai Storia, delving into one of the most dramatic and defining moments in Maltese history: the Great Siege of 1565.

Ahead of the episode, producers sat down with Joseph Calleja, Malta’s very own world-renowned tenor and cultural ambassador, who shared insights about the island’s rich historical and artistic heritage.

Joseph Calleja has also recently appeared in the documentary ‘Hidden Malta’, produced by Emmy Award-winning U.S. journalist Peter Greenberg, now airing on Apple TV and Amazon Prime and sharing the islands’ cultural and historical heritage with audiences across the Atlantic.

Catch ‘Malta 1565: L’assedio’ this Monday at 9:10pm on Rai Storia and experience Malta’s history through a fresh Italian lens, with a familiar Maltese voice leading the way!
