Twenty-one years after the first edition rolled off the press, Guide Me has reached a major milestone with the publication of its 100th edition. The latest annual edition of Malta’s iconic visitor guide is now being distributed across leading hotels throughout Malta and Gozo, as well as at official Malta Tourism Authority information offices, where it continues to serve as a trusted source of inspiration for visitors exploring the islands. The prestigious annual publication is also available at leading stationers.

First launched in June 2005, Guide Me was created with a simple ambition: to help visitors discover the very best that Malta and Gozo have to offer, while providing local businesses with a quality platform to showcase their products, services and experiences.

Since then, the brand has evolved alongside Malta itself. Having reached more than 10 million visitors and worked with over 5,000 clients and partners, Guide Me has become one of the country’s most recognised lifestyle and tourism brands.

Guide Me publication is also the sister brand of GuideMeMalta.com, the leading what’s on portal that is reaching over 4 million visitors, expats and locals every month.

Reflecting on the milestone, Jesmond Bonello, Joint Managing Director of Content House, said: “When Guide Me was launched in 2005, our ambition was straightforward: to create Malta’s premier visitor guide and help people discover the very best our islands have to offer. Reaching 100 editions is a remarkable achievement, but what makes me most proud is the trust that readers, visitors, businesses and partners have placed in the brand over the years.”

“From a single publication to a multi-platform what’s on and lifestyle brand reaching more than 50 million annual views, Guide Me’s journey mirrors Malta’s own transformation as a destination,” he added.

This special 100th edition is packed with features celebrating the people, places and experiences that make Malta and Gozo unique. Readers can explore a curated Malta Bucket List featuring must-do experiences across the islands, discover the character and charm of both Valletta and Victoria, and meet artisan producers helping to preserve Malta’s rich cultural traditions.

The publication also shines a spotlight on Malta’s growing contemporary art scene, uncovers fascinating insights into the islands’ history through contributions by Prof. Charlene Vella, and explores the rising popularity of second-hand fashion and conscious consumerism.

For Isabel Depasquale, Joint Managing Director of Content House, the milestone is ultimately about the people behind the brand.

“Guide Me’s success has always been about much more than a publication or a website,” she said. “It is the result of an incredible team, loyal clients, trusted partners, and thousands of businesses that have chosen to tell their stories through our platforms.”

“Reaching 100 editions is a celebration of everyone who has contributed to the journey. We remain as passionate today as we were in 2004 about creating content that inspires discovery and helps people experience the very best of Malta and Gozo,” she added.

The milestone also coincides with the forthcoming launch of the second generation of GuideMeMalta.com, which will soon introduce enhanced search capabilities, smarter content discovery, AI-powered assistance and a completely revamped restaurant directory.

One hundred editions later, Guide Me’s mission remains unchanged: inspiring discovery, supporting local businesses and helping visitors create memorable experiences across Malta and Gozo.

Both GuideMeMalta.com and the annual publication Guide Me form part of Content House’s media portfolio.
