Perfect beach weather!

Residents and visitors across the Maltese Islands should prepare for an exceptionally hot weekend, with temperatures expected to reach some of the highest levels seen so far this season.

According to the latest weather forecast by Maltese Islands Weather, both Saturday and Sunday will be dominated by clear skies and abundant sunshine, creating perfect beach weather but also bringing intense heat.

Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 33°C on both days, while the real feel temperature is expected to climb to a sweltering 37°C due to humidity and strong sunshine. Night-time temperatures will remain warm, dropping only to around 23°C, offering little relief from the heat.

Light northerly winds and calm sea conditions are expected throughout the weekend, making outdoor activities and swimming particularly attractive.

However, with the UV Index reaching an extreme level of 10, people are urged to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours, and use adequate sun protection.

This weekend promises uninterrupted summer weather so get ready for the beach but also stay protected from the sun. It is shaping up to be one of the hottest weekends of the year so far for the Maltese Islands.

Are you looking forward to this hot weekend ahead?
