Historic moment! First international series dubbed in Maltese hits national television this September
L-Iskorpjun, originally titled Akrep, is one of Turkey's most popular TV dramas.

Media Exclusive Ltd, in co-production with PBS, has announced a landmark moment in Maltese television: the launch of L-Iskorpjun – originally titled Akrep (Scorpion) in Turkish – the very first international drama television series to be fully dubbed in Maltese!

The pilot episode comes to national television on 29th September this year, and viewers can catch all the drama every Monday at 10 PM on TVM.

The series revolves around the struggle of two women confronting the consequences of the past, with their intense rivalry taking centre stage. Alongside this gripping conflict, the show also explores themes of love, betrayal, and motherhood – this is one you’ll want to prep the popcorn for!

This is a special moment for Maltese audiences, as it’s the first time they can experience one of Turkey’s most popular dramas in their native language, making it quite an important milestone in Maltese television history!
