Highs of 38°C?! ANOTHER heat spell will be hitting the Maltese Islands this week!
The Maltese Islands have been having some fab weather lately, with gorgeous sunny days perfect for our beach adventures. We’ve had hot weeks and scorching weekends, and that seems to be Mother Nature’s favourite trend lately!
According to Malta Weather, the Maltese Islands are in for another heat spell in the coming days, with temperatures expected to soar! “The latest weather models are predicting highs of 34°C to 38°C across Malta and Gozo every day for at least one week, starting from this coming Thursday,” they announced in a Facebook post. Hot damn.
This is all caused by “another blast of hot air from northern Africa” which will make its way to the central Med. Safe to say we’ll be melting our way into August!
Thankfully though, before this next heatwave starts, we should feel a little cooler this week as it is significantly less hot today, with highs only reaching 30°C and the added bonus of a cool breeze! #YAS. Temps should remain relatively cool until Wednesday before the big mama upstairs cranks up the heat on Thursday!
