Hello, single digits! Temperatures as low as 7°C expected in Malta & Gozo next weekend
Brr baby, brr!

Jillian Mallia

After what was quite the warm(ish) weekend thanks to the hot desert winds that blew on the Maltese Islands, it seems things are about to get chilly up in here.

According to various weather sites, temperatures will be plummeting to single digits, strong winds will blow, and rain will fall – practically throughout the entire week.

In their weekly forecast, Aggornament tat-Temp that the temperature will reach highs of just 17°C this week starting today that will become cooler as the week progresses. Cloudy and rainy weather coupled with strong winds are also on the horizon for the islands. But that’s not all! Come Saturday, temperatures are meant to hit lows of 7°C while the highest temperature will be about 13°C. Sheesh…

The Met Office are also reporting quite the dicey week ahead starting with isolated showers today that will then become windy isolated showers tomorrow and Wednesday. No showers are forecasted for Thursday but strong winds are expected. Windy isolated showers will make a comeback on Friday and Saturday, while light rain is expected on Sunday.
