A heartbreaking collection of photos have been shared on social media featuring Rebecca Zammit Lupi, the beloved 15-year-old who passed away on 3rd January this year after battling cancer.

Initially shared by Reuters Pictures, the photos, documented by her father, show both beautiful and heartbreaking shots of Becs’ life. “Reuters photographer Darrin Zammit Lupi took the first photo of his daughter, Rebecca, moments after she was born. Fifteen years later, he photographed his daughter in her final moments before she died of cancer,” the post reads.

Mater Dei’s Facebook page also reshared the post, noting that “Becs will always be in our hearts.”
