Planning a visit to the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta? Here’s something you might want to keep in mind: the Throne Room is temporarily closed to the public until further notice.

While one of the palace’s most iconic spaces is currently off-limits, there’s still plenty to explore inside this historic Valletta landmark. From richly decorated halls to fascinating collections and stories that span centuries of Maltese history, the Grand Master’s Palace remains a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.

The temporary closure doesn’t take away from the overall experience, and visitors are still encouraged to take their time discovering everything else the palace has to offer.
