A few localities around the islands are set to undergo planned power cuts this weekend due to maintenance works on the country’s hard-at-work power grid.

Fortunately, Enemalta, our local electricity provider, has published a list of localities that will be undergoing some planned maintenance works over the weekend. This way, you too can plan ahead.

These maintenance works are carried out regularly to ensure that the national electricity grid operates safely. 

Only select streets from the following localities will be affected.  

Here’s the full list of affected areas.

Saturday 29th October:

• San Gwann from 4am to 11am
• Swieqi from 5am to 1pm
• Birzebbuga from 7am to 1pm
• Attard from 8am to 12pm, and from 7am to 3pm
• Lija from 8am to 12pm
• Qormi from 12pm to 5pm

No power cuts are scheduled for Sunday 30th October as of yet.
