Heads up! Part of this junction is closed for traffic from tomorrow
Planned roadworks are going ahead to increase road safety and pedestrian access

Caroline Curmi

Few people plan to venture beyond their front doors in the coming days, however for those whose necessities dictate so, one road closure may affect you.

Between Monday 16th March and Friday 20th March work will be carried out on a busy Pembroke junction: "new diversions at the junction between Sant’Andrija Road and Suffolk Street, #Pembroke, as we continue the reconstruction of this intersection for increased road safety and new facilities for pedestrians and bus passengers. No access from Suffolk Street to Sant’ Andrija Road and vice versa," read Infrastructure Malta's announcement post on Facebook.

For residents of the area or those rendering a service, it is advised that Falaise Street or Alamein Street can be used to access Suffolk Street.

Share this with anyone who may be using this route in the coming days!

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
