Heads up, concertgoers! Floriana parking restrictions announced for André Rieu shows
Floriana’s Triq Vincenzo Dimech parking is off-limits unless you’re a resident.
If you’re heading to André Rieu’s much-anticipated concerts at the Granaries this weekend, here’s something to keep in mind.
The Triq Vincenzo Dimech parking area, next to the Floriana Young Stars Hockey Club, will be reserved exclusively for Floriana residents with permits on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August, from 6am to 11pm.
Since the concerts are expected to draw huge crowds, drivers are being urged to plan ahead. Alternative parking options include the Floriana Park & Ride and other car parks in the area, such as the Independence Ground. Just keep in mind, these are likely to fill up early!
Want to skip the parking hassle altogether? Malta Public Transport is running special bus services after the concert, taking audiences from Valletta straight to several localities across the island.
