As the days fly by to the end of 2024, it’s not too early to be thinking about next year’s holidays! Here’s a list of the days of the week each holiday will fall on, to help you with any travel plans you might have in mind.

Public holidays

Four public holidays will fall on a weekend, but a fantastic six of them will fall on a Monday or Friday – hurray for long weekends!

New Year’s Day – Wednesday 1st January

Feast of St Paul – Monday 10th February

Feast of St Joseph – Wednesday 19th March

Freedom Day – Monday 31st March

Good Friday – Friday 18th April

Worker’s Day – Thursday 1st May

Sette Giugno – Saturday 7th June

Feast of St Peter and Paul – Sunday 29th June

Santa Marija – Friday 15th August

Victory Day – Monday 8th September

Independence Day – Sunday 21st September

Feast of the Immaculate Conception – Monday 8th December

Republic Day – Saturday 13th December

Christmas Day – Thursday 25th December
