This December, residents across Malta and Gozo will have plenty of festive cheer to enjoy, as 56 Christmas-themed activities are set to take place, organised by local councils with the support of the Local Government Division.

Over €800,000 has been allocated to fund these events, ensuring a wide range of seasonal entertainment for communities.

The programme was recently announced, highlighting that 42 activities will be held in Malta and 14 in Gozo. Some events will begin in the last week of November and continue until January 6th, offering a full festive experience.

Festive activities will be hosted across numerous localities in Malta, including Attard, Birkirkara, Mosta, St Julian’s, and Żejtun, and in Gozo, in locations such as Rabat, Xagħra, Nadur, and Żebbuġ.

Locals and tourists visiting for the festive season can look forward to a month full of community celebrations, seasonal entertainment, and memorable family experiences.
