Headed to the beach? Here are ALL the recommended beaches in Malta for today

Weather throughout the past week has been super unpredictable, but with Santa Marija weekend finally here, it looks like things are starting to settle down – and maybe you’re even considering heading back to the beach.

In that case, here are all the beaches considered safe for swimmers today, according to Maltese Islands Weather.

Beaches and bays considered safe are generally free from jellyfish, rough seas, debris, and anything else that can serve to harm swimmers.

These are the safe bays for Friday 12th August:

  • Marfa
  • Ramla l-Bir
  • Little Armier
  • Armier Bay
  • Mellieħa
  • Imġiebaħ
  • Mistra Bay
  • Paul's Bay
  • Qawra
  • Marsaskala
  • Thomas Bay
  • Ħofriet
  • Marsaxlokk
  • Pretty Bay
  • Wied iż-Żurrieq
  • Għar Lapsi
  • Xwejni Bay
  • Qbajjar
  • Marsalforn
  • Ramla l-Ħamra
  • San Blas Bay
  • Daħlet Qorrot
  • Ħondoq ir-Rummien
  • Mġarr ix-Xini
  • Xlendi

The following beaches, however, are not recommended for bathers:

  • Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq
  • George's Bay
  • Sliema
  • Rinella Bay
  • Fomm ir-Riħ
  • Ġnejna Bay
  • Għajn Tuffieħa
  • Golden Bay
  • Anchor Bay
  • Paradise Bay
  • Wied il-Għasri
  • Dwejra
  • Dwejra Inland Sea
