Happy Mother’s Day! Check out these SIX mamas making us proud to be Maltese
How are you spending Mother’s Day?

Kim Vella

This Mother’s Day, we’re taking some time to celebrate those local mums that, for one reason or another, make us proud to be Maltese.

So, from world class politicians to exemplary influencers, here are six strong women that have rightfully earned the title of ‘Super Maltese Mum’ – let’s go!

Roberta Metsola

Roberta Metsola has put Malta on the map time and time again – and for all the right reasons!

Having just been elected President of the European Parliament (pretty much the highest office any Maltese person has ever held), Roberta’s the perfect example of a hard-working and successful Maltese woman, wife, and mother.

Miriam Dalli

Miriam Dalli’s the perfect example of what politics should look like in Malta and around the world.

Having just been re-elected as Minister for Energy, Enterprise, and Sustainable Development, Miriam’s set on making Malta a better place for us and her two little boys – Kane and Jake.

Sefora Tabone

A post shared by Sefora (@diego__and__i)

Sefora Tabone is definitely one super mama! After her son, Diego, was diagnosed with autism at the age of two, Sefora launched her very own blog to help out other mothers in similar situations.

By sharing her struggles and successes, Sefora’s making life a bit easier for countless mothers out there.

Leah Camenzuli

Local influencer-mother Leah Camenzuli recently made a public call to install bedside webcams at the Neonatal Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (NPICU), after her baby boy, Harry, was forced to spend over a month in hospital.

It’s truly refreshing to see an influencer using their voice to bring such issues to light!

Lorinda Mamo

Blogger, designer, and supermum Lorinda Mamo is an inspiration to many Maltese mamas and kiddos!

Her son, Henry, was born with a condition which led him to spend a lot more time in hospital than any kid his age. She was even diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, however she stayed strong and used her talent of writing to make life a bit easier for herself and her followers.

Lorinda’s driven by her life-long mission to be as happy as ‘a bird with a French fry’. Inspiring!

Tezara Saliba

Rockstar Tezara Saliba is one superhero of a mum. A drama teacher by profession, Tez has spent hundreds of hours with kids, so we can only image what a great mum she is to baby Ben!

Tez has also been extremely candid about her pregnancy journey, offering a breath of fresh-air to all those expecting women out there.
