Maltese soccer starlet Haley Bugeja has just become the youngest-ever footballer to play for American side Orlando Pride.

But Haley’s incredible achievements don’t stop here.

During her Orlando Pride debut yesterday, the Maltese footballer also became the fourth youngest person to ever play in the National Women’s Soccer League.

“A proud day for me and my family”, Haley wrote on social media, celebrating these milestones.

Hayley joined Orlando Pride last July, after a successful stint with Serie A side Sassuolo.

She made her American debut in a home match against North Carolina Courage, held yesterday, having sat on the bench for the team’s previous three games.

Haley’s efforts were also pivotal in helping the Malta women’s national team gain its best-ever result during this summer’s World Cup qualifiers.
