The renovation

The renovation is finally complete and to commemorate it, the organisation have shared quite the transformation shots on Facebook. “These two photos show the before and after of the vault ceiling painted by the Maltese baroque artist, Alessio Erardi in 1716, the greatest treasure of Victory Church.”

“The first photo shows how the vault looked like in 2004 when Din l-Art Helwa started the conservation process. The second photo shows the fantasticly restored vault paintings at Our Lady of Victory.”

You can also pitch in to help Din l-Art Helwa continue their work

Din L-Art Helwa needs funds to be able to continue their work and reservation of such historical sites. So any little bit can go a long way. “This project was only possible through the generous donations of many Maltese and foreigners wishing to protect our National cultural heritage,” they share. You can send your donation here.
