Flying Tiger Copenhagen has confirmed it will be closing its last remaining outlet in Malta, officially ending the brand’s presence on the islands. The announcement brings to a close a chapter for a retailer that had built a loyal following among local shoppers and visitors alike.

The Danish lifestyle brand had previously operated stores on Bisazza Street in Sliema and at the Main Street Shopping Mall in Paola, both of which ceased operations earlier. Its final Maltese outlet, located on Santa Lucia Street in Valletta, will now be closing its doors.

Flying Tiger was widely recognised for its vibrant displays, playful designs and ever-changing product themes. From colourful seasonal decorations and novelty gifts to affordable toys and practical kitchen items, the store offered a distinctive shopping experience that stood out on Malta’s retail scene. Its frequent refresh of merchandise, especially during festive seasons, encouraged repeat visits and made it a popular stop while shopping in town centres.

Are you sad to see Flying Tiger go?
