In a press conference this morning, Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne announced that the second person infected with the Coronavirus has recovered.

Despite being recovered, the person will remain in quarantine after it has been revealed that the virus can re-infect those recovered.

The total number of cases in Malta so far have risen to 21, with two recoveries. The Superintendent of Public Health is currently giving a press conference during which she announced there being three new cases. It is important to note that all cases were contracted while travelling and no local transmission has been reported yet.
