Ghaxaq Music Fest is celebrating 20 years with popping tunes & these world-famous bands!
The Ghaxaq Music Festival is back for another year, this time celebrating it’s 20th anniversary with a smashing event, bringing the hottest tunes and bands to the locality.
Kickstarting on 6th August, Ultimate Coldplay, voted the UK’s number one tribute to Coldplay, will be starting off the celebrations. Formed in 2017, Ultimate Coldplay have been performing sell-out crowds across the UK and Europe, wowing audiences with their amazingly Coldplay sound. They’re currently recreating the famous band’s A Head Full of Dreams tour, bringing a performance of a lifetime that includes hits such as Yellow, The Scientist, Paradise, Adventure of a Lifetime, Sky Full of Stars and many more. We're SO ready to sing (or scream) along to these famous tunes!
Local artists Matthew James & Band will be hitting the stage with several guest artists, opening for Ultimate Coldplay. We're sure the former Red Electrick frontman will be gracing the Ghaxaq music fest stage with an energetic and outstanding performance, as always!
On Wednesday 7th August, world-famous Smokie, Europe’s top live band is back with its world tour in Malta. Visiting more than 20 countries in three different continents, it’s certainly an awaited return of this iconic band to our islands. They’ll be playing songs from their new EP as well as some classics.
The Ghaxaq Music Festival promises a banging night under the stars listening to incredible musical talent. It’s all happening at Ghaxaq Grounds and entrance is free. Sweet!
