All together now: I can feel it coming in the air tonight, OH LORDDD! Phil Collins gets our feels. The weather on the Maltese Islands is expected to get a little cray cray today, taking “a turn for the worse” according to Malta Weather.

“The main threats are heavy rain and flooding in the usual low-lying areas till early tomorrow morning and gale force 8 winds from a south-westerly direction from Tuesday!” the local weather site says. But that’s not all. “The odd waterspout or tornado also cannot be ruled out this afternoon or this evening,” Malta Weather warn.

Local weather site It-Temp Madwarna also warned of a cyclone that might make its way to the islands. Low pressure will intensify near Tunisia and will make its way towards the Med and our islands come Tuesday, with the possibility that it could turn into a tropic-like cyclone.

It-Temp Madwarna also advised people to stay indoors, to avoid roads that usually gather a lot of rain, and to avoid parking under trees or near unstable walls.

Stay safe out there, folks!
