A few localities around the islands are set to undergo planned power cuts this week due to maintenance works on the country’s hard-at-work power grid.
Fortunately, Enemalta, our local electricity provider, has published a list of localities that will be undergoing some planned maintenance works over the weekend. This way, you too can plan ahead.
These maintenance works are carried out regularly to ensure that the national electricity grid operates safely.
Only select streets from the following localities will be affected.
Here’s the full list of affected areas.
Tuesday 11th October:
- Ghaxaq from 7:30am to 2pm
- Dingli from 8am to 12pm
- Birkirkara from 8am to 2pm
- Sliema from 8am to 1pm
- Mosta from 8:30am to 11:30am, and from 4:30am to 7:30am
- Naxxar from 9am to 1pm
- Zabbar from 9am to 11am, and from 7am to 1:30pm
- Marsaskala from 7am to 11:30am
Wednesday 12th October:
- Zejtun from 5:30am to 1pm
- Floriana from 6am to 7am
- Siggiewi from 8am to 3pm
- Iklin from 8am to 11:30am
- Fgura from 7am to 12pm
- Msida from 8:30am to 12pm
Thursday 13th October:
- Birzebbuga from 7:30am to 2:30pm
- Zurrieq from 9am to 1pm
- Siggiewi from 10am to 4pm
Friday 14th October:
- Mosta from 8:30am to 11:30am
