Fly further this winter! Malta Airport adds 3 new destinations to its winter schedule
Malta International Airport has just announced its Winter 2025/26 flight schedule, featuring 86 destinations served by 23 partner airlines, and three exciting new routes to Tirana (Albania), Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and Gothenburg (Sweden).
As part of its growing links with Scandinavia, the Copenhagen route operated by SAS will now extend into the shoulder months, while Ryanair’s Stockholm-Arlanda connection will continue alongside the brand-new Gothenburg route, launching later this month. From festive Christmas markets in Gothenburg to Copenhagen’s cosy cafés and winter charm, the season offers plenty of travel inspiration for those chasing the Nordic magic.
Malta International Airport is also deepening ties with Eastern Europe, with direct connections to Hungary, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Poland – and now Albania. The new Malta–Tirana route by Wizz Air opens up even more opportunities for travellers seeking new destinations across the Adriatic.
