Looking for the perfect way to spend a summer evening? Festa Lwien is making its return to the Ta' Qali Artisan Village on Friday 7th August, bringing together live music, traditional entertainment, artisan craftsmanship, delicious food and family fun - all with free entrance.

Organised by the Malta Crafts Foundation, the annual event transforms the Artisan Village into a vibrant celebration inspired by the atmosphere of the traditional Maltese village feast, while shining a spotlight on the country's talented artisan community.

One of this year's biggest attractions is a FREE live concert by Airport Impressions, who will take to the stage during the evening. The popular Maltese band joins a programme packed with entertainment that blends contemporary performances with long-standing local traditions.

Visitors will also be welcomed by the lively sounds of Tikka Banda, whose march through the village recreates one of the most recognisable elements of the Maltese festa experience. Adding another authentic touch, L-iŻgej u Sħabu will perform traditional Maltese għana, giving audiences the chance to experience one of the island's oldest musical traditions in a unique setting.

Of course, Festa Lwien is about much more than music.

Throughout the evening, visitors can wander through the streets of the Ta' Qali Artisan Village, where resident artisans will be opening their workshops and demonstrating the skills behind their creations. From ceramics and glass to jewellery, woodwork, textiles and decorative arts, the village offers a rare opportunity to meet the makers and discover the stories behind handmade Maltese craftsmanship.

Additional artisan stalls will also line the village streets, offering visitors the opportunity to purchase unique locally made products while supporting Malta's creative community.
