Last night was an incredibly cold night here in Malta. In fact, it’s been reported that yesterday was the coldest night Malta and Gozo have recorded this past winter.

This comes after weeks of unusually warm weather for this time of year.

The temperature dipped as low as 4.9°C during the night, the weather page ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ reported.

Temperatures are expected to remain at a 7°C low and 14°C high for the rest of the week.

The Malta International Airport meteorological office is also predicting isolated and thundery showers in the coming days.

Did you feel the cold?
